The Rule Book by Jennifer Blackwood

*4 We call him the Antichrist Nutella Jars*

Every one has rules whether small personal ones or big could send you to jail ones regardless it's hard to follow through sometimes and what better way to abide by rules then to have a rule book. That's just what this was a rule book but with the obscene amount of rules , some of them were aching to be broken.

Lainey Taylor at age 24 was trying to keep up with the rule book. An MBA in her pocket she was now playing Social Media expert/ second Assistant to the notorious Mr. Antichrist aka the Dimpled god of Brogan Starr company ,she had enough on her plate , add in a Dolce & Gabbana man child, swoon worthy boss with dimples, a semi dependent mom and a bitchy dog there you have Lainey's life. But with the rules and regulations Lainey was a ballsy heroine and maybe the rules are about to be changed .

“Lainey Taylor. Newly appointed second assistant to the Antichrist.”

In comes Mr. Antichrist aka Dimpled tattooed god. Borgan Starr worked his ass off to make his company Starr Media number one so if that includes a hefty rule book so be it. Not the type of CEO to hide behind his fancy office and expensive suits Borgan was a all hands on deck kind of man. The last thing he was expecting was to be called names twice, let alone have his let's not get personal Rule broken. He has reasons for the rules but maybe sometimes talking a walk on the wild side is just what everyone needs.

“Technically, you called me the Antichrist.”“Technicalities.”“The devil’s in the detail.”

The sexual attraction was off the charts but that of only Lainey could get her wits about her. Brogan on the other hand was pretty confused but maybe a break in could fix all that.

"Calling him the devil? No big deal, rolled off his shoulders. Having a conversation about stalking in the elevator? Brushed it off like a pro."

I said a bang bang bangitty bang I said bang bang bangitty bang . That's what we all were hoping for but sometimes surprises can be well surprising.

"I wanted to dress him up as Thor and lick Nutella off his bare chest (not a half-bad idea…)."

My Thoughts in the End:

This. This book right here was just what you need if you want something semi light with the right amount of drama. From Lainey to jackson *male version of devil wears parade* every single character was bang on, and that's saying a lot cause sometimes the side characters can come off as unnecessary or over the top but with this particular story everything just blended well. Brogan being the alpha wasn't the obsessive billionaire that we all love *sometimes* but rather the man stuck by his guns for as long as he could. Lainey on the other hand was the opposite she was more of a you know what fuck heroine , at times she did have her reservations but then again who doesn't. I highly recommend this book cause come on Andre Hamann bitches.
