The Anatomy Of Jane By Amelia LeFay

*4 what the heck Nutella jars*

What the actual feck! I am so lost with this book it's like a constant world pool of fecks because that's how lame I am. THE BLOODY ENDING.... jesus holy Christ help me. Once a lime horse always a lime horse.

Jane Chapman was an exceptional women in a not so exceptional world *come on Jane let's go party ah ah ah ya come on Jane, I just had to do that*. Her somewhat mundane life turned 360 after she encounters something so erotic & sinister in the most unlikely place, there's a brit , an American, a supposed french and of course a scandal.

“I was like a dirty Mary Poppins.”

Wesley Uhler aka the Brit was sex on a stick, somewhat in the public eye Mr. Uhler was a no nonsense type of man which he only reserved for work but behind sharpened knives Wesley was charming as charming could get from his swoon worthy personality to his witty comebacks Mr. Uhler was one helleva man.

“I smirked like the dirty sinner I was.”

Maxwell Alexander Emerson III, A man known for his direct and cutter throat commitment to his job. Coming from a family whose prominence was highly idolised Max had kept some secrets to himself. He was good at pretending but how long would he be able to deceive the vultures until the focus was on him.

“I never said there was anything wrong with dark humor. In fact, I applaud it.”

My thoughts in the end:

Look I know I'm being a secretive bitch and I love spoilers for the life of me, sure my review tells you nothing about the story but for your sake and mine it's better everyone gets to read it and then once the book is out spoiler all the way.

Maybe I can't put into words on how I truly felt about this book without sounding like a broken record, so please excuse my rambling . Honestly it started out a 2 jar for me *yes gasp* then I nearly DNF'd it but around 45 percent through the book things picked up fast and as soon as I reached the end I thought that's it, hello rainbows and HEA galore but NO I was whacked across the face with the ending. Going into this book I had a lot of expectations undeniably some were met whereas other times I was like meh, but the characters dear Lord the characters were faultless. All the characters needed each other to shine through it wasn't just about Jane or her life it was more about expectations and those who live in glass houses tend to fall harder.

Overall the anatomy of Jane could not be any more literal , you might be a little wary at the beginning of the book but trust me it's worth a read.

THE END.

Jane:
I’ve always been on my own. My life used to consist of nothing but work, keeping Allen out of trouble, and if I had time, sleep. Then I became their maid.

Max:
Every day more than half a million people tune in to watch my show. They trust me. I know it’s because I’m the only son of the prominent Emerson family. However, I like to believe it because I’m honest no matter what story I report on. I’m honest about everything but the man I’ve been f**king for the last four years… and now her.

Wesley:
I want three things: First, Maxwell Emerson and Jane Chapman both in my bed. Second, to be the best bloody chef in the country. Third, to figure out how to simultaneously get the first and second things I want without any of us getting hurt.

About the Author

Amelia LeFay is a character of my own imagination. She’s a single woman in her mid twenties in love with sex. Dirty sex, rough sex, sex of any type. She’s not a whore or a slut. She believes a woman should be aloud to sexually express herself anyway she wishes.

She stands for Gay Rights, Women’s Rights, the rights of Minorities, and Environmental protection.

She can be a bitch but doesn’t think there is anything wrong with that.

She has uneven boobs, stretch marks on her ass, astigmatism, and thighs that rub together as she walks. (Which means no pair of jeans last as long as she wishes they would.)

But most importantly Amelia is a Dreamer…she has dreams so big it scares even her, because if she fails…if she can’t make it…she feels like nothing.

I know too many teasers and pictures but hey look at them they're gorgeous and always thank you to IndieSagePr 😘

Je suis à toi by Pepper Winters

(Monsters in the Dark #3.5)

Publication date: May 29th 2016
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

Synopsis:
“Life taught me an eternal love will demand the worst sacrifices. A transcendent love will split your soul, cleaving you into pieces. A love this strong doesn’t grant you sweetness—it grants you pain. And in that pain is the greatest pleasure of all.”
Q made me the happiest esclave in the world. He gave me his heart, his empire, his ruthless unforgiving love. And life finally left us in peace.
A man like my maître has special needs though, growing stronger as our lives intertwine. The only way to survive his monster is to agree to all his desires.
Including his latest wish.
I’m his.
And I won’t refuse

EXCERPT ONE

Tess and I remained quiet, letting the others do the entertaining.

The staff cleared the table, appearing and disappearing effortlessly. It felt as if we were alone and in a private sanctuary rather than a cavernous castle.

Finishing his wine, Frederick stood up, helping Angelique to her feet with a doting smile. They made a handsome couple with their svelte frames and similar features. I didn’t have many close friends, but those I did, I cherished.

“Let’s play a few parlour games. What do you say?” Frederick clapped his hands, encouraging us to stand.

Tess rolled her eyes as Franco plucked Suzette from her chair.

“I don’t think monopoly or scrabble are what most of us have in mind tonight.” Tess murmured too low for anyone but me to hear as she came toward my side.

Wrapping an arm around her waist, it came off as kind and loving, but the fierce way I glued her to my side spoke of domination and desire. “Shall we retire and find our own entertainment?” I whispered in her ear.

She smiled coyly. “I think that’s a—”

“Come on. No excuses. A few games together and then we’ll head to bed.” Frederick in his bossiness didn’t let us say no.

With a mixture of grumbles and half-hearted hesitation, he ferried us into the room attached to the great hall and motioned us to sit in the mismatch velour love-seats and wingbacks grouped together around a low coffee table. Nestled by the chairs were a whiteboard, markers, and other paraphernalia.

“What the hell are you planning, mon ami?” I asked, reluctantly letting Tess pull me onto a love-seat with her.

Angelique answered for him, tugging her long dark hair over her shoulder. “Well, we’re in a castle. We thought it would be fun to play some of the parlour games that would’ve been their entertainment back in the day.”

I groaned dramatically. “I’d much rather drink.” I pinched Tess beside me, hissing in her ear. “And then play with you.”

I’m the best operator in the entire agency. The plum assignments—always mine. So when an American heiress goes missing, I’m the guy they call to get her back. Rescuing Collette Stanford is my mission. What I do to her after that is purely up to me, as long as she makes it back to the States in one piece. I’ll kill the bad guys, get the girl, and get a little taste of what the heiress has to offer. None of this is negotiable. I’m Cash Remington, and I never miss.

“Collette.” I strip my shirt off and toss it onto the vanity as she walks in hesitantly, her head bowed and her eyes down. “Take the jacket off and get in the bath.”
Her shyness only taunts the beast inside me. I want her naked, showing me all her secrets and yielding to my every desire. My eyes are desperate to see all of her again, my hands over-eager to touch her soft skin. I turn the knob and stop the pour of steaming hot water.
“But you’re in here.” Her voice is so soft, like a rose petal, and color rises in her cheeks.
I strip my boxers off and walk to her. She looks up now, to avoid seeing my erection. I smile at her bashfulness as I slide my hands down the lapel of my jacket she’s still wearing. I undo the buttons as she stares at me, her eyes fearful, but also full of a heat that I want to stoke until she’s a raging fire. The jacket slides to the floor with a little push.
And now it’s just Collette and me. Nothing else between us. I tip her chin up and taste her lips for the first time. She’s tentative, unsure. I run my hand up her smooth back and tangle my fingers in her hair. Giving a slight tug, I pull her head back and slant my mouth over hers. That gets her hands on me, where I want them.
I run my tongue along the seam of her lips, daring her to open them for me. Her hands travel to my chest, my abs, and then to my back. Her breasts press into me, the tips hard and tantalizing. I need them in my mouth, but I want her surrender first. All of it. I want her to give me her virginity like a gift, something to treasure and keep, and I also need her submission. With the way she melts under my touch, I know I’ll have everything I want, and soon.

Question Time with London Miller

Q/A with Miss London Miller

Q1. How do you feel about Nutella *I ask this question for my own sanity*

L. - Nutella is a gift from the gods and I love it.

Q2. Let's get down to the good stuff. Sex scenes are one of the things I highlight the most on my kindle. When you write the good stuff what do you focus on the most: the build up / foreplay or the scene itself?

L. - The smexy scenes are actually the last scenes I write in the book. I have to be in a certain headspace to write them. As far as what I focus on the most, it’s the scene as a whole—from foreplay to the actual good stuff. I want it to be an experience, and not just for the characters in the book LOL.

Q3. When authors write about sex what percent is reality or fantasy?

L. - 80% reality, 20% fantasy. Or even 40% reality, 60% fantasy. It all depends on the scene.

Q4. There are so many genres out there. As an author what specifically made you write about the mafia world galore?

L. - I love all things related to organized crime. The danger, the allure. Everything. There’s just something about the mystery of it all, that these people are able to do such bad things, but you love them anyway.

Q5.  I'm a huge mafia fanatic and I really need to read all of your books. When you pen down a certain way of life as in the way a bratva works how important is research for you? Being fiction, is it important for you to have a hint of reality in it?

L. - I’m one of those people that stresses over research. Before I started writing In the Beginning, which is the first book in my Volkov Bratva series, I spent weeks finding out everything I could about the vory v zakone. I’ve watched documentaries, read books, and listened to interviews. If there’s anything on Russian organized crime out there, I’ve probably seen it.

Even with fiction, I like to make sure that there are some aspects of the book that are relatable, or at the very least, a person could picture it in their head.

Q6. You've written about Russians. Do you think you'd ponder with the Italians or us Irish?

L. - Despite my love for the Russians, I’m definitely going to venture into the life of the Irish. I’m actually working on the first book in the Irish Nights series. *wink wink*

Q7. Your Kingmaker series has got me waiting in anticipation with Niklaus also hinting about him. Since we are on that topic, is there something more you can tell us about it like if it's entwined with your pervious series or which family it's about?

L. -The Kingmaker plays an integral role in the Den of Mercenaries series. I’ve hinted at him before—in Hidden Monsters, he makes a brief appearance—but you will see a lot more of him in the future. His series ties in with the Den of Mercenaries series, and his family has yet to be introduced, but with each book in the DoM series, you’ll learn more about him and the game he’s playing.

Q8. You've written a book with another amazing author *love Bethany* How was it working with a fellow author and were there times when you didn't necessarily agree? Do you think you will co-write with other authors too?

L. - Bethany-Kris is amazing and I love her. She is definitely one of the BEST people I know. While working on Where the Sun Hides, I can’t say that there was anything we disagreed on. We both went in knowing what we wanted, and it just so happened that we clicked immediately. And right now, between my personal books and those I plan to write with Kris, it will probably be some time before I write with another author.

Q9. Out of all of the male characters you have written, if you'd be allowed to bring one of them to life or find out he exists who'd you like to meet and why?

L. - You can’t ask me this! It’s like making me choose between my children!! I know most people would think I would pick Mishca because he was first and he means the world to me, but that was until a certain Albanian stole all my love. Luka. Luka. LUKA. He was a dream to write, and not just because he has the sense of humor as a thirteen-year-old boy. He’s a little broken, a little crazy, very intense, but there’s this spirit inside of him. If I could bring him to life, I would just hug him tight and tell him he was too precious for this world. Kidding (not really).

Q10. Sometimes authors like to draw up character traits from people that they know or have met. Is there anyone you know that is a reflection of your characters in any capacity?

L. - A lot of Luka’s humor and personality I took from my husband—he has that sort of crazy about him. My sister inspired Alex’s love of fashion. I do, sometimes, pull from my everyday life, but for the most part, the characters are all just figments of my imagination. Which may say more about me than even I realize.

Q11. The scene where Niklaus becomes the man that he is was a little hard for me to swallow. Was it hard for you to write it or was it something that had to be done?

L. - It was awful writing that. All of his backstory, I wrote over the span of a week, and it was only during the late hours of the night that I could bring myself to dig into my own head and pour it all out. At the same time, it was something that needed to be done. I wanted readers to understand just who Niklaus was. Why he hates his brother, and practically hates the world. It was important to see where he had come from so one can understand why he makes the choices he does.

Q12. Do you think you'd ever write a book from a different genre like Mengé or Dark erotica?

L. - Oh definitely. I would love to try a ménage one day. It would definitely be interesting to say the least.

Q13. What is next for London Miller?

L. - Celt is up next, book two in the Den series, then Calavera which is book three (and you’ll get introduced to her in Celt’s book). I also have my projects with Bethany-Kris releasing soon. So, there will definitely be a good number of books from me this year!

Q14. Red is being turned into a movie or TV series: who would play Niklaus and Reagan?

L. - Gaspard Ulliel for Niklaus, definitely. Even though he’s French (and not Russian), but who cares because he has the face of an angel. And for Reagan? I have no idea. I’m still looking though!

Q15. And finally, if you could describe your books in a quote what would it be?

L. Welcome to the dark side.

Thank you so much :) can't wait for the rest of you series :D.

Red by London Miller

*3.5 Welcome to the Den nutella Jars*

It wasn't suppose to begin like this, two ordinary people living two opposite lives, welcome to a new game the one that starts with a surprise.

Reagan O' Callahan at 22 was struggling as it was. With working as a waitress and becoming the breadwinner for her crumbling family the last thing she anticipated was to be knocked sideways into inconvenience, from blow to blow Reagan was barley keeping her head above water until "he" came along. It was just supposed to be one night which might have led to a few more but before she could get her grasp on the situation just like the shadows he was gone. Fast forward a few years and the shadow starts to reappear and now a little bit more tainted at 26 Reagan was slowly drowning in her own emotions.

"Tonight, she wanted to pretend the Reagan who worked crazy hours and came home to a broken family didn’t exist."

Niklaus Volkov aka Klaus was a nobody and wanted to stay that way but one life altering moment made him into a prince a Volkov prince at that. Cursing the day he got tangled in false accusation by enemies, Klaus swore to take revenge. After being trained by an unknown autocrat, now at 28 Klaus or Red was ready to begin his hunt, what he wasn't ready for was a red haired siren. It was one night which became quite a few, then he disappeared but now that he's back he needs a little more then just her attention.

"What was it with mafia guys that made them feel the need to wear a suit every day? "

This life was now his whether he wanted it or not but the only difference was that now an innocent was caught between the war or was it the mysterious King makers plan all along. C.O.D.A. painted red, black and blue this was much more then the Vory v Zakone or the Russian Bratva.

"picking up one of the crystal pawns and moved it forward two spaces. It was time. The game was on."

He was sure he wasn't capable of feeling again and she swore to do right by herself but with not just the Russians at play , a little touch went a long way.

"For just a second, he seemed content in teasing her this way, until he found purchase and thrust in, catching her off guard as she gasped, his name spilling from her lips. When he thrust back in, his grip on her was stronger, his need a little more at the forefront as he throbbed inside of her. He gave a few more measured thrusts, giving her time to adjust, and the more she did, the better it felt, like he was rubbing over every last nerve ending in her pussy.

My Thoughts in the end:
Now here were some reasons why I didn't give it full jars cause no doubt the story was on point but somethings made me go WTF, whereas at moments the scenario was played lowkey even though it had potential to be fecking grueling and you know how much I love mafia action, moving on though this can be read as a standalone but I HIGHLY prescribe *yes prescribe* that you read the Volkov series first. For someone not bothered by several sections of the book solely based on the Volkov series it's grand to move on but if you're like me and you end up reading the same page thrice to make sure the vodka didn't kick in early I'd rather you heed my warning and read the Volkov books first but then again this is my opinion *no seriously listen to me* cause if not.

Any who as far as content & H/H are considered the book is like nutella either you gonna love it and base your life solely around it or it'll make you feel like meh *I'm looking at you Jess* either way the one thing that will definitely spike your interest is the bonus chapter named CODA and coda basically means something that concludes or summarises a certain event usually on a individuals interest or perspective, now that got my ears perking because a) the author has stated that at the end of every mercenaries book *I think there at least 7* a bonus chapter will be given and it'll be about the kingmaker and b) im fecking curious, from what I've read so far the kingmaker isn't the only one playing a game and it's hard to pin him down as a good or bad character just yet it's still got me thinking, who is he, where does live , is he broken , is he hot , good shag , family or friends , more importantly does he have a kitchen aid and can I borrow it basically all the necessary details about the oh so mysterious kingpin and some dude with a posh name. Even though Niklaus and Reagan were grand someone else stole the show, but for what it's worth I'll patently be continuing the series. It's a good book with a great story line but it's like salt and vinger crisps , you need an acquired taste. Overall i guess me less then stellar rating was due to the fact that some parts of the book i didn't get at first but then finally when i got where it was headed I kinda got the *spoiler alert* of the other series get what I mean but still its a book worth trying if you want some good russian loving. That's it I guess.
