Sol by Leslie McAdam

*3 Let Go Nutella Jars*

The story of Danika & Trent is quite fickle for me I enjoyed the story but it didn't blow me away as I had expected though I won't deny I thought Trent was the perfect hero and Dani ah my free hippie heroine I have so much love her even though sometimes she made want to roll my eyes she was still the best.

Okay so they're 2 tropes going on here one is student /teacher romance and the second is best friends sister though I will say this DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S TROPE cause it's so much more then that. Sure you'd think student teacher = H is her professor but nope that's not the case more like Dani is a teacher *while she's living her hippie lifestyle* and our hero signs up to her class because he's been crushing in her forever and before you cringe and be like OMG the age difference must be too much the answer to that is no barely 3 years and even it was more , we like our hero's older and it's high time we switch the riles because why the hell not.

They're lots of real issues involved as our hero has just return from Afghanistan with the weight of the world on his shoulders there's a lot that goes on.

This story is about two characters who are polar opposite one whose seen war and blood and the other the free flower child hut what binds them to gather is a connection that's si much more greater then their problems , or grief it's the type of connection that made these two long last lovers take notice that type that brings a solider back home or the free child her solid ground. Overall a decent read.

  About the Author

Leslie McAdam is a California girl who loves romance, Little Dude, and well-defined abs. She lives in a drafty old farmhouse on a small orange tree farm in Southern California with her husband and two small children. Leslie always encourages her kids to be themselves – even if it means letting her daughter wear leopard print from head to toe. An avid reader from a young age, she will always trade watching TV for reading a book, unless it’s Top Gear. Or football. Leslie is employed by day but spends her nights writing about the men you fantasize about. She’s unapologetically sarcastic and notoriously terrible at comma placement (that’s what editors are for!). Always up for a laugh, Leslie tries to see humor in all things. When she’s not in the writing cave you’ll find her fangirling over Beck, camping with her family, or mixing up oil paints to depict her love of outdoors on canvas.

Bottoms Up by Holly Renee

*4 Firecracker Stars*

I LOVED this and I mean loveeeed it! It was such a feel good book and yes there was drama and at times my heart ached for Kennedy but the story was so incredible I just couldn't put it down. What I absolutely adored was that the side characters WERE SO DAMN CUTE like I really hope they get their own story esp JASE he's such a cocky mofo but he's frigging spectacular too.

●Kennedy was a nerdy yet sassy AF heroine who loved reading *major points* but sometimes felt like she didn't belong.

●Brooke: OMG she was the yang to Kennedys ying and went so well togather aka Slut dust😂

●Tucker: Full alpha but hardcore gentleman I mean what's not there to love.

●Liam : basically Brooke but male version and downright legendary

Overall if your into a light yet swoon read I HIGHLY recommend this book cause it'll just make you awe for ages 😂

Blurb:

From the moment I met him, I knew he was trouble.

He was reckless, cocky, and everything I shouldn't want.

I had a life all figured out, and Tucker Moore was not a part of the plan.

But somehow I slipped.

One moment I had it all under control.

The next I was spiraling around him, begging him for whatever he would give me.

But as quickly as I fell for him, it all crumbled around us.

Because everything I thought I knew was far from the truth.

There was only one way to fix what we had done.

So I turned my world Bottoms Up

*5 In My Veins Nutella Jars*

I am speechless. That's all I can say right now , I finished scandalous in one sitting cause not only did Trent blow me away but his struggles really was a wake up call. Edie too was another enlightening character who will surprise you every step of the way.

I'll update this review once I have all my graphics done but for now I will say this though Vicious will always be my hubby and Dean too but scandalous is the best story wise put of the entire sinners of saints series hands down. The plot and story was addictive from the get go. Also bane!!! If you don't know who he is I suggest you read scandalous and find out who is Bane.

Blurb:

They call him The Mute for a reason.
Hard, cold and calculated, he rarely speaks.
When he does, it’s with disdain.
When he does, his words aren’t meant for me.

When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is thirty-three.
I am eighteen.
He’s a single dad and my father’s business partner.
I’m just a kid to him and his enemy’s daughter.
He’s emotionally unavailable.
And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.

Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. The writing isn’t just on the wall, it’s inked on my soul.
And yet, I can’t stay away.

A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them.
And oh, what a beautiful chaos it will be.

Excerpt:

Trent’s gaze cut to mine and stopped when his grays met my blues. The fading noise of Vicious barking at people to move along, and my father finally letting go of my arm to move toward Jaime and Dean—probably trying to gain both allies and sympathy—died down.  “I don’t like you,” Rexroth whispered under his breath, his voice harsh. “I never asked you to.” I shrugged. You won’t be working here.” His arm brushed my shoulder, but I didn’t think it was by accident.

I let loose a sugary smile, scanning his face and torso for no other reason other than to taunt him. “Good, you’ll be doing me a favor. My father is the one forcing me to work here. He’s pissed I turned down five Ivy League colleges. Remind me, Mr. Rexroth—which top tier university did you attend for your degree?”

The low blow was supposed to retrieve some of my lost dignity, but bile burned my throat, shotgunned from my stomach. Trent Rexroth was known in Todos Santos as an exhilarating success story, rising from the gutters of San Diego. He went to a shitty state college that accepted even the illiterate, working as a janitor on campus after hours. Those were given facts he’d recited himself in an interview for Forbes.

Had I really just tried to make him feel less worthy because he wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth? It made me sicker than wearing my mother’s designer garbs.   Trent smiled, leaning into my body, into my soul. His smirk was more frightening than any scowl, frown, or grimace I’d ever seen. It threatened to tear me apart and sew me back together however he pleased.       “Edie.” His lips were dangerously close to my ear. A delicious shiver moved down my spine. Something warm rolled inside of me, begging to unknot and flower into an orgasm. What was happening, and why the hell was it happening? “If you know what’s best for you, you will turn around and leave right now.”

I elevated my head to meet his gaze and showed him my version of a grin. I was born and raised in a world of intimidating rich men, and I’d be damned if I go down like my mother—addicted to xanax, Gucci, and a man who paraded her on his arm for a short, glorious decade before keeping her solely for public appearances.  “I think I’m going to go find my desk now. I’d wish you a good day, Mr. Rexroth, but I think that ship has sailed. You’re a miserable man. Oh, and one for the road.” I fished for a Nature Valley bar in my mother’s purse and plastered it to his hard, muscled chest. My heart slammed into my neck, fluttering like a caged bird.

I hurried after my father as he glided down the vast, golden-hued hallway, not daring to look back. Knowing I’d started a war and arrived unequipped. But I also knew something else that gave me a surfer’s rush—if I could slam the final nail in my employment coffin and make Rexroth vote against me, I’d be off the hook.

I had just the plan for it. All I had to do was act like a brat. Game on.

Summer Camp Captive by Alexa Riley & Jessa Kane

*3 Your King Nutella Jars*

Another smexy read by two incredible authors as you know I love AR and I've recently been hooked to Jessa kane,  I picked up her *she's just too young* and boy was I in reader heaven so when to three smut goddesses get to gather you know you're gonna swoon.

Well this book was no different it was insta hot on so many levels our hero Carver was big and I mean 7ft big so just imagine his package LOL but he was the epitome of big friendly giant and Lord he was such a sweetheart but he was tainted just like our heroine Lainey who craved freedom. Now that sounds strange right a hero who is all mine mine and and heroine who wants freedom you'd think it doesn't work out but boy are you wring it just makes everything that more sexy.

Another incredible read.

Lainey has heard the ghost stories of the beast in the woods, but one night around a campfire she discovers some legends are true.

The Butcher has watched her from a distance, but he’s a man with needs and won’t deny himself any longer.

Warning: We’ve teamed up with Jessa Kane again to bring you filthy, over-the-top hotness. It’s ridiculously fun, so don’t be shy! Grab your marshmallows and join us for this dirty treat!

The Outskirts by T.M. Frazier

*4 Knows Everybody's Dissapproval Nutella Jars*

The outskirts was a story about two people that just didn't belong to gather but we're meant to be. One standing up to the monster they saw everyday and the other was beating their own demons down. After a push and pull of attraction their hearts found each other before H/H even had a idea of what was happening.

Sawyer Dixon OMG I am in love with her and honestly she was perfect from start to finish. brought and bred in a strict Catholic family she knew that the picture perfect facade was all a scam and after attending her mother's funeral Sawyer was angry not just at the falseness of everyone surrounding her especially her dad but also her mum who left her behind. In the midst of it all our heroine finds a letter and a box filled with different things from her mother on the day of the funeral and let's say it bought her into our hero's path.

Finn Hollis blames himself for the things that happened and though it's been two years since he's not ready to move on or at least that's what he feels. In barges Sawyer a girl who could nuns a run for their money and Finn is angry not just at himself for feeling too many emotions but at our heroine too for breaking down his walls.

Thus begins the story that is the outskirts.

I loved this book as in I did not expect it to be like this. Throughout the read there was one song that kept playing in my mind and that was take me to Church my Hoizer it was if the song was written for this book so if that's any indication you definitely want to pick up this book ASAP.
