This one is for you and me

I give up, I give In, I've been doing  this again .

The story continues in reflected in you by Sylvia day. This is book two in the cross series, for me personally I started actually enjoying the story more because finally we understand Gideon's childhood which in the case of most alpha males is a true blessing. Like in the previous book ,Gideon is passionate as ever and let's say we get the aftermath of what's going on , as in book one was left with a cliffhanger. Now for me I've decided to use quotes by great authors or philosophers to describe the characters.

Eva as a character definitely evolves she isn't  a air headed bimbo ,but the girl has guts in her as compared to some damsel in distress heroine's that I've read in the past .The story in general was quite refreshing let's say there's Eva's equally hot ex and a hot tempered/jealous Gideon then you've got quite a situation in you're hands (literally though if you're reading this series in paperback which I'm a huge supporter of , what can I say I like holding my men ;) ) likewise Carey who is Eva's best friend also has a story to him which was great because sometimes you read a book and it's just about the main characters (narcissistic much) and it completely side lines the sassy characters ,so another reason to pick up this book is because all the characters are included in.

Gideon: My feelings are too loud for words and too shy for the world .”
― Dejan Stojanovic

Eva: “Scars are just another kind of memory. "
― M.L. Stedman, The Light Between Oceans

To tie things of I'd say you should definitely read this book I swear my Nutella on it ,this story has a lot more depth and background to it and on that note until next time my lovelies xoxoox

He starts with my toes and I loose all control

                                      Bared to you

Bared to you by Sylvia Day is known as a parody or copy of fifty shades of grey ,and let me stop you right there ,yes some things do match like good looking billionaire or the scars from my past thing going on. But in all honesty story wise I preferred Gideon over Christian (cue the hate emails) but hear me out ,yea grey has a special place in my heart but considering Gideon had somewhat of a story and did I mention the book has 5 parts to it (bared to you, Reflected in you , entwined with you, captivated by you -not released yet out Out by November 18 2014 and the fifth ones title will be shown at the end of book 4 last page) so Gideon cross is a gorgeous tall man with brown hair (just imagine Nick majoor ) and Gideon is alot more expressive than Christian grey (no contract involved) Eva is a blonde independent chick (has gay best fried well he swings both ways)

The story typically starts with Eva at his office lobby ,some women drops her coins and our heroine helps her pick them up (I should drop by a billionaires office to huh anywho) Gideon boom comes in falls in love and things escalate and let's just say Gideon is definitely more open about his past then Mr .grey ever was . Overall bared to you did captivate me (see what I did there) and I did love it ,I mean their was a hot ex involved , creepy but good looking brother , over emotional mom and you basically get the idea . If you're wondering what to read after fifty shades of grey this is a definite or you could read beautiful disaster. I'd like to apologise for skipping three days because due to university commitments I have to put reading on a hold so from now on I'll only be posting from Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday, thank you for you're patience (if you read my blog) so see you soon my lovelies xoxox

Didn't find her

I've got my mind made up

Today's book is looking for Alaska by John green(my sister got me this and I still blame her). Now people have had nothing but rave reviews about this and I do admit some people had a few objections to behold as well, but I rather not discuss about that and just stick to my perceptions. For me looking for alaska was not my cup of tea main reason being the ending didn't settle well with me nor does the main characters constant contradictions whether he should Choose alaska or the foreign exchange student.  Let me just point out that the ending is not happily ever after (I know what you're thinking ,she really needs to grow up and except the realities in this book) no I do not , why does this book have to be so closely related to apparent reality, in this day and age there's enough reality for us to handle , a book is the the only place you can get lost into any genre you want, there's no reason or logic involved. It's escape from reality and honestly that's what books are meant to be you're escape where all sense of logic disappears and you don't need an answer, sadly looking for alaska left more questions for me instead of understanding.

                  Quotes

The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.”

“When I look at my room, I see a girl who loves books.”

So we start with our main two characters first Miles halter a  tall ,skinny guy who moves to a boarding school to find "the great perhaps", and he's interested in famous people's last words (which as weird as it sounds is quite interesting) and ironically his pet name given by his friends at the boarding school is "pudge" if I had to describe miles in one word I'd definitely say indecisive. Moving on next is Alaska young she's  wild ,unpredictable, moody (that's just describing a normal chick during PMS) yes I just said that, and she's a huge prankster, plus she needs to tone down on the ciggy's she's barley 16. So our characters meet and behold the extras are included chip Martin he's alaska's best friend and coincidently miles roommate, next is Takumi Hikohito friend to both parties, Lara Buterskaya Romanian immigrant and the caught between two people kind of character ,finally Mr. Starnes he's the Dean at the school and there's somewhat of an understanding between alaska and him even though he's extremely stern. Overall this book made me feel nauseous from all the ups and down , and the getting out of a labyrinth (child you're too young for the labyrinth theory ) honestly I was confused at the end and I'm not saying don't read this book ,go ahead it might be something that you might end up loving. But as far as I'm concerned this one wasn't made for me and call me a big baby but we all need a happy ending whether it's in a book or in real life I will not settle for anything less I need my books to be something that every time I open puts a smile on my face and not in my shelf in the back . John green is an amazing author but this for me wasn't one of his finest .In end it's one of those book for me that I won't show off to my friends but rather just keep it locked up until I get maybe a sequel to the book called Alaska found , then maybe my bantering would tone down. Thank you again for viewing my blog my lovelies until tomorrow xoxox

ruthless heart

This love is taking its toll on me.

Yes it did, I'm talking about ruthless people by the one and only J.J McAvoy (what an amazing author) first of all this book did take a toll on my heart (sometimes I pat myself on my back) I feel in love with this book and I'm not even kidding my gr name (goodreads) is Mrs. Callahan (yes I'm desperate). The story is about an Irish (my boy) mafia well he owns title more like is the Ceann na Conairt technically he inherited from his dad . (The family is genetically blessed) green eyes and brownish hair *swoon* .Then we have melody nicci giovanni what a women ,she's badass her dad like liam's dad was also the head of the Italian mafia but let's say Liam and melody are in a relationship that they're bound to .apparently the Italians and Irish are rivals and need an alliance .This is an extremely addictive book I'm still in aftershock.

Now to the main points the author has gotten a lot of hate because she didn't get her facts right , like the Irish sentences aren't right (calm the heck down I bet Irish isn't even her first language plus it's a work of fiction NOT reality so let it go) Irish and Italian we're never rivals (dude nobody cares you know what she wasn't writing a biography and with due respect to both parties this book wasn't meant to offend anybody and a lot is written wrong about different cultures so just enjoy a book) and finally there were spell checks in the book (seriously that's what you have a problem about) it's her first book and I have a lot of spell checks plus the readers can unscramble the words jeez use you're brain . finally an amazing book please for everything that's holy get this book .Thank you again my lovelies xoxo

cocktail

                                 Bang bang

Bang into the room, bang ,bang all over you

No this isn't what it sounds like we'll not completely thought (it clean I swear) I'm talking about Alice Clayton's amazing book called wallbanger(cocktail#.1) yes it's hot as it sounds but it's also incredibly light hearted and I'm in awe of this book . I'd definitely give it a huge whooping 10 stars cause it's that bloody good . At the beginning this was a stand alone novel but like many amazing author's who take pity in their fans ,miss Clayton released a sequel called rusty nailed (cocktail#2) which is just a treat .now before I get started let me say that rusty nailed is released so if you plan on reading these amazing books you'll notice there are four books in the cocktail series ,book 3 and 4 are not about Caroline and Simon but hey if you want to dive into the rest it's pretty amazing :) moving on.

                                       Quotes:
  “Sweet dreams and thin walls...
Mother of Pearl. He'd  heard me"

 “I wouldn't say I know him, but I'm
familiar with his work.”

The story begins with Caroline a strong headed , kitchen aid baking addict with a flourishing business as an interior designer ,and and amazing apartment in San Francisco. she lives with her call Clive (he deserves his own book I'm not even kidding) and has two amazing best friends it's all nice but Caroline hasn't had a visit from the notorious "O" ladies you know what I'm talking about until one night she hears a *Bang*Bang*Bang (is someone wall banging) and cue our sexy male Simon (*sigh I wish you were mine) what can I say besides that he look flipping swoon worthy ladies he has full lips and sex hair .so our Simon is a freelance photographer well not free lance (shoots for national geographic ) and travels a lot (duh) .when he's back let's say he doesn't rest and involves in other activities *bang*bang* :D so as always Caroline and Simon refuse to see eye to eye and let me just point out the sexual tension in this is off the charts plus major respect to Caroline for her strong headed personality (at times I did want to punch her)but hey you would say the same once you re lead it . This book was funny, sexy, steamy and downright entertaining, a must read. It's in a lot of people's perspectives (I'm not crazy) Caroline's ,Simon, her two best mates and his best mates technically it's everyone's book . All the characters get a part which is very refreshing. Over all I loved it and maybe you would like it too . Thank you once again my lovelies xoxo until tomorrow :) byee

Maybe they lived happily ever after .........or did they ?

                              Pum Pum Pum

Travis final happy happily ever after

As you might have guessed we've finally reached that point in any characters story where it's time to see their happily ever after in this case Abby and Travis's happy ending. I'm talking about a beautiful wedding ,no it isn't a full length novel but a novella. Which again fills the spaces left by Beautiful disaster and Walking disaster.

                    Quotes:
“And when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever.”

"If you're not with me, its not where want to be."

one down, forever to go.

Unlike the previous two books ,A beautiful wedding contains both Abby's and Travis's  perspective ,which believe it or not was quite a treat .Was I upset that the series ended (yes ,yes I was be still my beating heart) but I was glad that as much as I wanted the series to extend , it ended on a bittersweet moment for me, main reason being I felt some things were rushed (THE WEDDING, SHOCKING) I know what you're thinking what's wrong with her it's the bloody title how can it be rushed , but you are very wrong here's a hint (let's do it all over again) okay not the best hints but hey I tried . What I loved is that there was a little reminder from Travis's mum ,which in all honesty was really sweet . It was a amazing way to tie off a beautiful (see what I did there) series ,but that doesn't mean it's all over ,miss Mcguire posted a short story barely two pages long on her blog called Mrs. Maddox (beautiful # 1.5) as much as I wished it was me it's not , it's miss Mcguire taking pity on us Maddox obsessed readers and giving us a little bit more of the man that is Travis . Here's a link at the bottom (don't say I never did anything for my lovelies :D) http://www.jamiemcguire.com/blog/2013/12/3/mrs-maddox-a-beautiful-short-story

That doesn't mean we're done, the beautiful story continues but not with Travis (damn) but his equally gorgeous brother  Trenton Maddox (keep them coming miss Mcguire) in beautiful oblivion and there might be a cameo from Abby and Travis but the main story is about Trenton. Plus one more maddox brother is going to get his book (cue dramatic effect) ........Thomas (you would have guessed it by now the maddox boys have a weird attachment to the letter "T") it's expected to be published on December 1st  2014 (fingers crossed ) until then this book addict will be waiting patiently and that concludes with today's maddox update . Thank you once again for viewing my blog until tomorrow my lovelies xoxo

This is just too much...........travis take #2

                              TRAVIS MADDOX

                                     PART .#2

The story continues or more like told from travis's point of view , yes people travis get's his own bloody book (and I mean that with love). The book show's aspects of travis that weren't available in walking disaster. For instance we find out why travis has rage issues and he constantly insists on calling Abby pigeon (did I mention that's his pet name for her) as much as I didn't get the main idea of calling someone pigeon, taking a walk in Mr. Maddox's brain was pretty amazing. You get to know not only him and his feelings for Abby but also his family ,that includes his brothers ,his dad and his relationship with his best mate Shepley. I'm not going to lie, I did "skim" through the first two chapters of the book for the main reason that it was like I was repeating the scenario again, which is as nostalgic as I felt I wasn't ecstatic about the whole story playing on rewind. Don't be put off because as the story continues you will get hooked ,I admit after chapter 4 I devoured the book, which is a plus point I reckon. There were little snip pits of the maddox family when they were young ,which I adored .overall you get to fill in the spaces that were left in beautiful disaster (we finally know where travis was when he wasn't with Abby ,yes i did always wonder and my prayers were answered) as a bonus point you get an epilogue at the end that takes place on they're 11th anniversary (congratulations to my fictional couple *sobs*) which is really sweet because you get a sneak peak of Abby and travis when they're all grown up.I was extremely happy at the end of the book one reason being NO CLIFFY we finally get a happy ever after .The End . Thank you once again for reading my blog my lovelies until ...........jk ill be back in a bit we still have a little bit of travis left :D

                                                  Quotes:

                   “Even though we’d put each
other through hell, we’d found heaven.”

“That situation is a broken heart just                             waiting to happen”

I 'd love to, if you'd get in the fucking car!”

Travis you bloody maddox

The first time I realised I'm attracted to fictional men............

Beautiful disaster by Jamie Maguire was the first book that I had picked up out of the blue (best day of my life) and the day my expectations for men fell by a huge margin (curses) but I was fortunate to stumble across this amazing book (literally I fell near the book shelf and on the way to the counter when I bought the book) that's it down there.yes I know not the best photograph but sadly that's a talent I lack.before I continue let me just point out that this book is a well some what a trilogy . 1) Beautiful Disaster 2) Walking disaster and finally a novella Beautiful wedding.

Beautiful disaster #1
Quotes :
“-It's over. Go home.
-You're my home.” -beautiful disaster

He scanned my face with careful hope in his eyes.
“You love me?”
“It’s the tattoos,” I shrugged. -beautiful disaster

He was afraid of nothing. Until he'd met me.” -beautiful disaster

The story starts of in our heroines perspective (it's her perspective in this entire book) Abby Abernathy a 18 year old 5'4 college student with caramel brown hair and grey eyes (call me weird but when I read beautiful disaster I swore she had aburn hair hence my attention span) she's starting college with her best friend  America 'mare' Mason they have known each other since third year of high school . America is described as a petite thin blonde with blue eyes.Abby is somewhat a good girl she doesn't smoke or drink and prefers to keep to herself ,let's just say she's got a few skeletons in her closet (no she's not a murder) whereas her best friend mare is fierce and down right bitchy but in a good way. They meet Travis in an underground boxing fight (no he's not a professional)

TRAVIS:
(air fanning)
I am obsessed with him (I'm not even kidding) lean and muscular, and covered in tattoos. He's tall, has buzzed brown hair, brown eyes, and a deep dimple in his left cheek. (Yes I'm thorough) he's drives a harley night rod motorcycle and has little to no temper issues ,he lives with his best mate 'Shepley' isn't that an interesting name anyway Shepley and travis are also related (I'm not telling) and travis family also includes his 4 other brothers Thomas ,Trent, Taylor and Tyler (yes it's something with the letter"T") yes and all of them are equally hot and two of the brothers already have their own book out but that's for another time (by that I mean tomorrow) travis is cocky and a smart ass, plus he's bagged most of campus except our Abby.  After a few twists and turns and a bet beautiful disaster stole every fiber of my being I fell in love with him and abbey and especially the side character's which include, Parker (the prick),kara (irritated roomate,Megan (slut)finch, Adam, brasil, ethan (All random dudes) overall I loved all the series and I couldn't get enough .they're are a lot of blogs about books and travis but I'm forever thankfull to anyone who takes out the time to read my blog let alone comment thank you my lovelies (I'm sticking with the name ) xoxo
I DO NOT OWN THIS PICTURE (I wish I did ) AND IF THIS IS YOU THAN I AM SORRY BUT THE PICTURE IS COINCIDENCE (hi there ;) )
