Hard Rules by Lisa Renee Jones

* 4 Dangerous then Family Nutella jars*

Family a single word that can justify even the cruelest of intention, Family a six letter eternal prison. It always takes one to fuck up a good thing but what if your born into a family of bad apples , hell that's where things get interesting.

Emily Stevens at age 27 was running , running from what exactly was still unknown while battling her own demons , Emily didn't think one hasty encounter at a coffee shop would send her down a rapid free fall. The man who drinks his coffee a little too dark and his smile a little too easy for someone who had the weight of the world on their shoulders, but putting her guard down didn't mean her own secret wouldn't come creeping in but it meant something so much more dangerous something that made her hide a part of her in the first place. One night that was it but deep down both of them knew this wasn't their last hello.

"A fantasy and an indulgence: this night that can never become another night."

Shane Brandon at age 32 was a heavy hitter back in Newyork with the successful life as a lawyer Shane's perfect world came to a halt when he was plucked back to Denver to take care of his families empire Brandon Enterprises. After being guilt back to the life he wanted no part of Shane was forced to take hold of the reigns but when his older brother is after the same crown Shane knew there's something shifty was happening , a secret that might have been concealed for it to only grow darker, the rules weren't being just bent but completely sabotaged. He knew he wouldn't just have her for one night but maybe one night was too much for either of them.

"I do not want to scare her, or stir her demons because mine have decided to come out and play."

Games it was all just a game to the onlookers but on the inside it was much more sinister. It wasn't the right place at the wrong time but it was the wrong people all along.

“Say nothing or tell me everything, but don’t lie to me.”

Each touch ignited their demons each whisper lit a fire in the lies that were brewing but whose on whose side guess no one will ever know.

"I waste no time finding her clit and licking it. And licking again, sucking her deeply, using my fingers and tongue to tease and please until she is arching her hips and making soft, sexy sounds of pleasure I feel in the pulse of my own body. I explore , lick, touch, and it is only minutes before she is tugging at my hair, a rough burn that tells me she is on edge where I want her. With only a few more caresses of my tongue, her sex is clenching around my fingers. "

My Thoughts In The End:

I've fallen a wee bit hard for this book and it just blew me away in the best way possible. Shane was truly a fresh of breath air from him handling situations that concerned his family to his frozen hot water relationship with the heroine everything about him was written perfectly. Emily on the other hand was the embodiment of yes/no dilemma maybe because her past was more tainted then the hero or because something happened to her that might have caused her indecisiveness at times , nonetheless I hope as a character she grows a little more resilient for the lack of better words. Besides that I absolutely adored this book and it's been I awhile since I've enjoyed a billionaire romance type book , this had so much more then the typical Rich McHottie and Damsel in distress, it had a secret and tussle between family and that's something my wee heart rejoiced on . Can't wait for the next sequel to Shane & Emily's story.
