Our story starts with Avelina trying to get away from her Ex fiancé Matteo or that's what she thought. As Matteo demands that Ava comes with him so he can protect her our heroine has to much anger to forget and move in and thus beings the war. One side fighting for the love of his life and the other fighting to get away but as the story unfolds we finally get to see how the hate started.
The story jumps from present to past to give you and idea where it all started from our heroine's family to our hero's we get to know when they met and how the relationship changed. I will post out as a character it took me sometime to warm up th Ava and slowly when I found out why she was so mad at Matteo I could understand where she was coming from even though I want quite fond of her that being said this story doesn't jump straight into the big reveal no it takes its time and give you the whole background and piece by piece it all starts to make sense.
I will say to anyone who wants to read this , stick with it at times you might be feeling at bit bothered but trust me you'd want to find out why this whole situation happened in the first place also Matteo has 3 other brothers so that's something to look forward to. Overall a good read and Ella fox is definitely an author I'd read again. One last thing 10 points for the cover it's absolutely gorgeous.
