Okay let me start off by saying when I say the hero is a proper creep like level 100 on the stalker chart do not take it lightly , if ye think "oh wait what's the creepiest things he can do steal hee panties" let me stop you there and say he does that and some more like hiding under her bed type of stalking.
The story starts off with Hawk aka Greyson Maxwell living hid IDGAF life , as a ex sniper grayson wasn't only sharp but let's say they're were repercussions to being a warrior. Fast forward a few years and grayson starts fixating on his assistant just as she's hands in her notice.
Violet has played assistant at Maxwell subsidiaries for a while now and after her hard work doesn't get acknowledged for the past few years violet decided to move on so she hands in her notice but what she didn't anticipate was her boss to finally see her but there's a problem she can't let anyone see her , she's meant to be a ghost for obvious reason. Maybe now she'll finally realise that once Grayson wants her he'll stop and nothing to get her.
This book is but not my level of dark and I've read about of twisted books so maybe it's somber for me , overall even though the heroine made me question her sanity and the hero was too stalkerish for me it still held my attention and it's definitely worth a read.
