Black Swan Affair by K.L. Kreig

*3.5 Better when it's Twisted Nutella jars*

Excuse me while I get my my mind sorted. What the heck did I just read! If you thought by reading the blurb that you have this book figured our then you my friend need to sit down because once you read this book nothing and I mean nothing will prepare you for the turn of events that take place.

From the get go I was hooked , there's something addictive about indecisiveness when it comes to falling for two people , there's a rush, thrill and anxiety of who will win you over in this case it was Heiress Maverick DeSoto aka swan , she always had eyes for killian but when Killian does something her heart couldn't handle Mave gravitates towards Killians brother Kael, heart broken and confused Mave decides to do something she didn't expect but obsession was a strange creature and Mave needed to redeemed what she wasn't hoping were for things to get complicated so fast.

Pining after someone's husband is one thing. Pining after someone's husband when you're now married- to his brother- is taking immorality to an entirely new level. But that's me.”

But something was happening a messed up love affair of sorts, do we get what we want or do hearts kept getting broken.

To find out you'll have to read the book, this isn't your typical love triangle , this is much more angst , pain, hurt and downright guilty pleasure. Even though the heroine wasn't to my liking ill say this I'm team Kael from page one. This book will ruin you in the most sinister way possible and trust me you'll be begging for more. Overall a fantastic read my only issue was the heroine. There times I didn't want to finish the book but then again I was so in love with the story lone and other characters that I just couldn't put it down.

I’ve loved him as long as I can remember.
The gangly boy with big brown eyes and unruly hair who grew up into an intoxicating man. He wears scruff like he invented it and ambles with a swagger that makes panties drop.   Killian Shepard.   Shep.

We grew up together. We played Ghost in the Graveyard. Had our own rock band. It didn’t matter that he was five years older than me. It didn’t matter that he looked at me as a kid sister even as I grew into a woman. It didn’t even matter when he left me behind to go to college and start his adult life.   He’d be back.

He was always meant to be mine.   He came back, all right. But instead of smelling of promises, he stunk of betrayal. And he destroyed me—us—the day he married my sister instead of me.

So I did the only thing a girl like me in my position could do.   I got my revenge.   I married his brother, Kael.   Now we’re one big happy fucking family.

About the Author
I’m just a regular ol’ Midwest girl who likes Game of Thrones and am obsessed with Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I run, I eat, I run, I eat. It’s a vicous cycle. I love carbs, but there’s love-hate relationship with my ass and thighs. Mostly hate. I like a good cocktail (oh hell…who am I kidding? I love any cocktail). I’m a huge creature of habit, but I’ll tell you I’m flexible. I read every single day and if I don’t get a chance…watch the hell out, I’m a raving bitch. My iPad and me: BFFs. I’m direct and I make no apologies for it. I swear too much. I love alternative music and in my next life I want to be a bad-ass female rocker. I hate, hate, hate spiders, telemarketers, liver, acne, winter and loose hairs that fall down my shirt (don’t ask, it’s a thing).
